Before Hitting Lessons
Every hitter must start with a group or individual evaluation, or a Precision Strike 1 Day Evaluation and Training Session. Hitters must do this before they can begin taking hitting lessons to increase hitting power and mechanics. These evaluations are vital to optimum development and training plan customization.
Time & Cost Of Hitting Lessons
Our group hitting evaluations take place every Tuesday night at 6:00 PM. The cost is $90, and the assessment lasts up to 2 hours, depending on how many players sign up.
What To Expect From Evals & Hitting Lessons
During the group session, we’ll perform a head to toe physical assessment on all attendees to identify any physical constraints that might be holding them back or putting them at risk for injury. We’ll also do a high speed video analysis of your swing mechanics to evaluate about 15 different markers we consider critical to improved performance.
We'll measure your bat speed, exit velocity, and SMASH factor. We'll also perform a classroom presentation outlining our unique motor learning approach to teaching, and the variables we consider critical to the development of an elite swing and increasing hitting power. The group assessment is not as detailed as our Precision Strike 1 on 1 program. No actual hitting lessons take place on Group Evaluation night, but we will design your individualized training plan based on our evaluation findings. You’ll need to come back for on-going hitting lessons and training
on a different date to receive specific instructions to help you increase hitting power and improve mechanics.
After The Evals
After the evaluation, we’ll set you up with a username and password so you can begin to register for our on-going hitting lessons and training. Again, the evaluation is critical to our process, so we must conduct it before you begin taking hitting lessons. We reassess every 60 days to make adjustments to the plan and review the progress you've made from our hitting classes.
