Before Beginning Your Hitter Training Experience
Every hitter must start with a group or individual evaluation, or a Precision Strike 1 Day, On-on-One Evaluation and Training Session. Hitters must complete one of these options before they can begin attending hitter training to increase hitting power and mechanics. These evaluations are vital to training plan customization and optimal development .
Time & Cost Of Hitter Evaluations
Our group hitting evaluations take place every Tuesday night at 6:00 PM. The cost is $90, and the assessment lasts up to 2 hours, depending on how many players sign up.
If you can't make it on a Tuesday night, consider the individual evaluation which is scheduled by appointment ($399).
Call us at 866-787-4533 to register for a group or an individual evaluation appointment.
What To Expect From Evals & Hitter Training Classes
During the group evaluation or the one on one session, we’ll perform a head to toe physical assessment on all attendees to identify any physical constraints that might be holding them back or putting them at risk for injury. We’ll also do a high speed video analysis to design the proper baseball workouts for our hitters. We'll do a high speed analysis of your swing mechanics to evaluate about 20 different markers we consider critical to improved performance.
We'll perform a detailed high -speed video analysis of your swing and measure your bat speed, exit velocity, launch angle, attack angle, time to contact, peak rotation speed, and BLAST factor. We'll also perform a classroom presentation outlining our unique motor learning approach to teaching, and the variables we consider critical to the development of an elite swing and increasing hitting power.
The group assessment or the individual evaluation are not as detailed as our Precision Strike 1 on 1 program. The Precision Strike is an intensive 4 hour one-on-one training session that involves the evaluation, classroom training, swing training, as well as strength and mobility training.
No actual hitter training will take place on Group Evaluation night, or during the individual evaluation, but we will design your individualized training plan based on our evaluation findings. You’ll need to come back for on-going hitter training classes on a different date to receive specific instructions to help you increase hitting power and improve mechanics.
After The Evals
After the evaluation, we’ll set you up with a username and password so you can begin to register for our on-going hitter training classes. Again, the evaluation is critical to our process, so we must conduct it before you begin registering for classes. We reassess every 60 days to make adjustments to the plan and review the progress you've made.
