I Might Have Screwed Up

Ok …

So what had happened was …

When we first launched the idea for The Florida Baseball Ranch/Dutch Baseball Skill Acquisition Summit I randomly chose July 18th at 11:59 as the deadline for Early Bird Discount registration.

Well …

I might have forgotten that on product or event deadline days, Amy Marsh, my business partner and the CFO/COO of Sullivan Rehab Services and The Florida Baseball Ranch®, typically has to work through the night answering phone calls and handling last-minute registrations.

I might have also forgotten that July 18th is her birthday.

I might have also not remembered until our staff brought in flowers, a card, and a cake yesterday.

In typical Amy, Ranch Girl fashion, she never said a word about it. She boldly soldiered on, handling things until well after midnight.

At around 10:00 pm I tried to jump in and have the calls forwarded to my cell phone, but in typical Randy, techno-challenged fashion, I might have messed that up, causing us to miss several calls until she figured it out and corrected my little glitch.

As usual, even on her birthday, she saved the day.

And… I might … no … I definitely feel bad about that.

So … to make up for it, I have decided to extend the Early Bird discount deadline to allow anyone we might have missed to have a second bite at the apple.

The new deadline will expire at 11:59 pm on July 31st. And this time, if I can convince her to relax for an evening, I will send Amy to a belated birthday dinner with her family and I will handle all the calls.

We’re truly excited about the response we’ve gotten so far.

30 MLB coaches from 8 teams (Angels, Dodgers, Indians, Diamondbacks, Braves, Twins and Pirates) have already locked in their spots. These teams obviously understand that the new frontier in player development is in the advanced science in motor learning and skill acquisition research.

For years, players and organizations have worked diligently to solve the question of what to work on. With the emergence of new age tech solutions for assessment, data collection, and analysis, identifying what to work on has never been more readily available. The big question that remains and the next fertile ground to gain an edge on the competition is understanding how to most effectively and efficiently acquire skills and refine ability.

That is rapidly becoming the Holy Grail that MLB teams, college, high school, and youth programs are all seeking. And that is what the FBR/Dutch Baseball Skill Acquisition Summit is all about!

On September 8th and 9th, in Lakeland, FL, some of the world’s most preeminent motor learning scientists will be joined by a prestigious and forward-thinking set of coaches and medical professionals in a one-of-a-kind event.

This power-packed panel of experts will present the latest scientific findings and show you exactly how you can use that information to radically improve your practices and turbo-boost the development of your players!

By attending The Summit, you’ll gain an edge that will give you a 5-year lead on your competition and you’ll be in a position to expertly facilitate rapid and long-lasting improvements in the performance of your players.

Execute the processes and procedures you’ll learn at The Summit and you’ll be rewarded in spades for your investment as you watch your players ascend and excel at the highest levels of the game.

Remember, the new deadline is 11:59 pm EST on July 31st and this time, I promise it will be for good. After the 31st, the cost of The Florida Baseball Ranch®/Dutch Baseball Skill Acquisition Summit will increase dramatically.

Strike now while the iron is hot!

The price of greatness will never be this low again.

We can’t wait to see you at The Summit.
